From Inverness, visitors should take the A9 dual carriageway north to Tore roundabout, then the A835 to Garve. From Garve, take the A832 via Achnasheen, Kinlochewe and Loch Maree. Alternatively, you can take the slightly longer north route—instead of turning left at Garve, stay on the A835 as far as Braemore Junction, and then turn left on to the A832 and follow it round the coast to Gairloch.
Arriving in Gairloch, you will see the McColls supermarket. You should turn left here on to the B8021, signposted to Melvaig. After 750 metres you will see the Millcroft Hotel & Self-Catering Apartments on the right, up the small hill. There is plenty of parking either at the back of the hotel or at the lower end.
The hotel is within easy reach of Loch Maree and Beinn Eighe National Nature Reserve; and the famous Inverewe Garden is just six miles away.
